What we collect, why, and how we use it

We only collect what you type into our forms, what our scan finds on the public website you give us, and the basic technical data every website receives.

• Email address (required) — so we can send your scan results, follow up about your request, and answer support questions. If you create an account, it is also your login.
• Website URL (required) — so we can scan that site and build your report. Used for service delivery and follow-up about your results.
• Phone number (optional) — only if you give it. Used to follow up about your request or provide support if you'd rather talk than email.
• Business type (optional) — e.g. plumber or roofer. Used to tailor our follow-up and advice to your kind of business.
• City or service area (optional) — used to understand where you want to be found in local search, so our follow-up and recommendations fit your market.
• Name (plan sign-up form only) — so we know who we're talking to when we follow up.
• Scan results and history — the findings from scanning your public website, and past scans if you have an account. Used to show your report, track changes over time, and provide paid features.
• Account and subscription details — your login (email/password or Google sign-in) and your plan and payment status (never your card number). Used to give you the features you paid for.
• Basic technical data (IP address, browser type, server logs) — used only to keep the service working and secure.

We use this information for three things only: delivering the service, following up with you about your request, and support. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell it.

Who we share it with

• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which handles the sale of our product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing. Paddle collects your payment details directly.
• Service providers that host and run our website, database, and sign-in.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, when needed.
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — generally for as long as you have an account or are a lead we're following up with, plus any period required by law. After that it is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. Where you live outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States with appropriate safeguards. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and strict access controls on stored data.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and make the site work. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may update this policy and will change the "last updated" date when we do.
